During the Qin-Han period, the national road networks including Chi Road(馳道) of the emperor are well-maintained. In addition, in recent years, one part of the traffic system in Han Dynasty can be recognized according to 'Jinguan Law'(津關令) of 'Zhangjiashan Bamboo Slips of the Han Dynasty' (張家山漢簡). However, the traffic remains in Han Dynasty attendant on the Excavated materials are “Jian Shui Jin Guan”(肩水金關) in the Ejin River Basin and 'Dunhuang Xuan Quan Zhi'(敦煌懸泉置) in the Shule River Basin. In this paper, by focusing on the survey of the 'Xuanquan Bamboo Slips of the Han Dynasty'(懸泉漢簡), the transmission of official document in Xuanquan Bamboo Slips, and 'Chuanxin'( 傳信) and 'Chuan'(傳) of Xuan Quan Zhi, the features of the traffic in Han Dynasty will be clarified. |
