潘佩珠研究述評（1950-2010）及其漢文小說研究之意義

Comments on the Study of Phan Boi Chau (1950-2010) and the Meaning of Studing of His Chinese Novels

潘佩珠（Phan Bội Châu，1867-1940）是近代越南民族運動的重要領袖，也是越南知識分子中較早「開眼看世界」，了解世界局勢的先行者。而潘佩珠身處世變之際，無論是他的政治或革命行動，還是他與東亞各國知識人的交流互動，抑或是他那文史哲多棲的創作身份，以及以儒學為根柢所面臨的知識轉型，在在都呈現出高度的流動性與複雜性，洵為近代東亞─越南知識人的代表之一，也因此在學界逐漸開展出多元豐贍的議題與面向。但由於過去的陌生與忽視，加上語言（尤其是越南語）的隔閡，使得欲進行此一課題的研究者，不容易掌握越南或是國際間對於潘佩珠的研究成果。因此，的確有進行相關研究回顧，以提供學界參考的必要性。而筆者在回顧潘佩珠相關研究成果的基礎之上，以他的漢文小說為例，說明未來可資拓展與深化研究的方向。

Phan Boi Chau (1867-1940) is the important leader who understood the world situation earlier of modern Vietnamese national movement. Because he lived on changing times, there are many multivalent meanings among his political action, the interaction between he and East Asia intellectuals, his multiple identities of writing and his knowledge transformation which is based on Confucianism. Phan Boi Chau is the one of the representatives of East Asia and Vietnam intellectual really so many studies focus on him and have multidimensional subject gradually.Nevertheless, the researcher neglected Vietnam research and had language barrier of Vietnamese in the past. This situation made the researcher hard to grasp the studies of Phan Boi Chau in Vietnam or International. This thesis tries to review the studies of Phan Boi Chau and offers new opinions about his Chinese novles for future reference of scholars.
