The history of the Chinese Communist Party during the agrarian revolution period was one of the main concerns of historians during the Cold War. Conflicts between Mao Tse-tung and what was called the three left deviation lines fascinated many historians at that time. After the fading of the Cold War, however, historians gradually lost interest in the history of the Chinese Communist Party during this period. Can we rediscover the history of the Chinese Communist Party during the agrarian revolution period through a new perspective, and in addition excavate unknown historical facts? This article examines some characteristics of the Chinese communist revolution during this period in Shaanxi province through a new perspective, that of organizational history. |
