This article retrospect the studies of education of history in Taiwan from 2011 to 2013. There were total 103 studies and books published in Taiwan in recent 3 years, which is similar with the numbers in 2009 and 2010. 75 of the publications are studies in the Japanese colonial period, 7 in Qin dynasty, 12 in the post-war period, and 9 in general history. These 103 publications include 49 studies, 33 theses and dissertations and 21 books. This article retrospect in three aspects. First, I'll quickly make a statement of every field of studies, referring to the traditional classification of education history studies. Second, I'll introduce and discuss the noticeable studies of school history in recent 3 years. Finally, based on my own concern, I'll bring up some achievements that are noteworthy and the developing directions in the future and also call on the importance of investigation, preservation and collection of educational materials and school archives. |
