Abroad Life in Japan of Exchange Students-Focusing on Their Monthly Reports

本稿調查報告 2013 年 9 月至 2015 年 7 月兩年間計 42 名台灣赴日留學生所提出的 217篇定期報告。
結果臚列如下：
1. 接受台灣留學生的日本各大學之老師們，對台灣留學生的照顧不遺餘力。正因為這些日本老師們的努力付出，使台灣留學生得以順利完成留日階段。
2. 台灣留學生對跟上日本當地的日語速度有難度外，亦對寫報告所要的論述能力感到困難與不知所措。此外，台灣留學生為補強日語能力不足，留日期間呈現慌忙複習日語的現象。
3. 台灣留學生的日語能力約十個月過後可進步成長。
4. 多國籍多文化間的學生交流並不太進行。

The present report was undertaken in order to seek how Taiwanese international exchange students spend their study-abroad life in Japan based on 217 monthly reports by 42 students from September 2013 through July 2015.
The results were the following:
First, sister school teachers’ great care for Taiwanese students in Japan enable them to spend their study-abroad life in Japan satisfactorily. Second, some students were going over Japanese language in Japan because it is tough keeping up with the native speaking speed and they never have enough academic writing skills. Third, it should take about ten months to develop their Japanese language skills. Finally, there was less the Taiwanese students’promotion of cultural exchanges among other international students except for Japanese onthe reports.
