Cellulitis is a deep skin infection. As the name suggests, we can see that the subcutaneous fat layer of human skin is like a honeycomb cellular organization. If this area is infected, it is named as 'cellulites', which results mainly from bacterial infection, commonly from Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus bacteria, and so on. When the infection has encroached on the dermis and subcutaneous tissue, the arrangement of subcutaneous fat is like honeycomb, so this type of inflammation is known as cellulitis tissue inflammation. Most of the infective way is from the wound. After the bacteria enter the body from the wound, they will cause a serious wound infective phenomenon if the body's overall immune system is low. However, in clinical fact, there is not always a wound before infection. For example, if the rest of the body is subject to bacterial infection, it may also form a 'cellulitis.' |
