The paper focuses on the “situational” and “constructivist” learning methods of Creative Drama. It discusses how exhibits and themed exhibition of the art museums, as representation of reality and real situations, inspire participants. Using drama strategies and interactions in games, the art museums encourage the participants to start from their own knowledge and experience, strengthen their critical thinking ability to form dialogues with the art work, and eventually construct interpretive meaning of them. This paper discusses how the design and implementation of integrating creative drama into art museum’s guided visits affects comprehension of the art pieces of the viewer’s, leading to the delineation of interdisciplinary features between the “theatre/exhibition venue” as theatre space in Creative Drama and the “movement/vision” as aesthetic sense. |
