When the Transitional Justice Promotion Bill was drafted, the Indigenous Peoples in Taiwan were delightful that they would be included in the forthcoming transitional justice process. However, after the DPP government declared that they would be dealt with separately, it sparked waves of protests. This article seeks to explore the relationships between the Indigenous Peoples Basic Law and Indigenous transitional justice in the context of how the Indigenous Peoples face the national judicial syste. |
