評析《自由中國》雜誌對戰後初期救國團教育（1952-60）之論述

The Education of China Youth Corps: A Critical Analysis from the Perspectives of Free China (1952-60)

中國青年反共救國團於1952 年成立，為戰後初期國民黨執行黨化教育的重心，其設立與實施的過程備受社會爭議。而《自由中國》雜誌集結了中國大陸自由主義知識份子的改革觀點，從1952-60 年之間強烈批判救國團教育違反民主教育、浪費公帑以及實施不當的軍訓課程等諸種弊端。本文欲分析《自由中國》中多篇對救國團教育的批判觀點，並從台灣教育史的脈絡探查其意義及影響。

China Youth Corps was founded by Chiang Kai-shek in 1952. Its establishment has aroused great disputes. The journal Free China collected and published many critical commentaries written by liberalists against the education of China Youth Corps. These liberal thinkers criticized China Youth Corps for violating democratic ways of education, for wasting public expenditure and for conducting inappropriate military education. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze their comments about China Youth Corps and to find out their deeper meanings in the larger context of Taiwanese history and education.
