英文摘要 |
We start with a brief introduction of the concepts of nation and nationalism, theories of nationalism, and modes of nation-building. We then look into how Karl Mark and Vladimir Lenin treat the relations between Marxism-Leninism and nationalism. Further, we review how nationalism has evolved in China and how the Chinese Communists have found themselves in this context. In addition we examine the New Chinese Nationalism in three aspects: its international status, treatments of national minorities, and the so-called recovering its lost territories. Finally, we provide for a sketch of Xi Jinping's view of national identity. |
