《新青年》與《學衡》引介新知的量化分析

A Survey on the Introducing New Knowledge of Hsin ch'ing-nien and Hsüeh-heng

五四時期的中國不論是在政治、外交、社會、以及學術等各方面，皆掀起一股對於傳統、現狀極為不滿的聲浪，許多知識分子紛紛致力於新文化與新思潮的引介。他們以辦雜誌或出版專書的形式介紹來自西方各國、以及日本、俄國等地的文化與思潮。在當時不僅是反傳統的人致力於新知的引介，部份被視為是文化保守的知識分子亦同樣贊成新知的引介。但彼此對於對方所選擇引介的“新知”卻頗有微詞。本文選擇《新青年》和《學衡》為例進行分析研究。先將期刊中刊載的各篇文章加以統計，之後再進一步將兩份雜誌加以比較、分析。同時，將統計分析所呈現出來的數據與當時的時代環境加以結合，解說兩者之間的關係。

Many intellectuals discontented with many aspects, like politics, diplomacy, society, and knowledge etc., in May Fourth time and they all devoted to introduce new culture and new thought. They through published magazines or books to introduce culture and thought form western nations, Japan, and Russia. These new culture and new thought challenged Chinese original political thoughts, social thoughts, academic thoughts, and traditional culture. At that time, not only who was anti-tradition but seen as cultural conservatism were all agree about introducing new knowledge. But they all did not agree what others introduced. In this article, we take Hsin ch'ing-nien and Hsüeh-heng for example to do statistics analysis. We hope we can through this statistics analysis help us more realize the differences between Hsin ch'ing-nien and Hsüeh-heng.
