Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTD) has been increasing significantly due to the high division of job tasks and high repetition of operations, especially the frequent use of hand tools. Since the occurrence of CTD has a gradual evolvement process, the early identification of the causal factors and the prompt remedial actions will certainly be helpful. The objective of this study is to evaluate the relationship between the use of hand tools and the discomforts caused by work, and to propose ergonomic improvement suggestions. |
