從人民幣國際化進程談兩岸金融合作契機

The Internationalization of RMB and New Opportunities for Cross-Straits Financial Cooperation

本文目的有三，以流通貨幣、結算貨幣、投資貨幣與儲備貨幣等角度探討人民幣國際化之發展進程與現況；並檢視在政府持續鬆綁與積極推動人民幣業務下，台灣人民幣業務之發展現況；剖析在人民幣納入SDR 後，對台資銀行與投資人之機會與挑戰。本文發現人民幣之國際化進程一日千里，不論在流通範圍、貿易結算、跨境投資、外匯儲備與支付貨幣之金額與重要性，皆有長足之進步。最後，本文針對人民幣國際化對兩岸之間未來金融合作提出相關建議。

This paper aims at three issues. First, we analyze the progress and current status of Renminbi (RMB) internationalization in terms of circulating currency, settlement currency, investment currency, and reserve currency. Next, we examine the current development of RMB business in Taiwan under the encouragement of the government. Finally, we explore the impact of the inclusion of the RMB in the special drawing right (SDR) basket to the banking industry and investors in Taiwan. We find that the internationalization of RMB progresses rapidly and significantly in many aspects. In addition, we provide some suggestions concerning cross-straits financial cooperation in response to the internationalization of RMB.
