This paper proposes a new approach to indigenous languages revitalization. Both the public and the government have attempted to promote the preservation and the education of native languages due to their endangerment; however, situations such as depreciation of language awareness, limits of the learning environments, and insufficient participations of human resources may curb the pace of revitalization. Based upon the strategies of open access, diversified learning, and inter-disciplinary, an integration of online and offline revitalization program is suggested by combining teaching and archiving, applying theories to practices, and cooperating with local communities. |
