This study was designed to investigate middle-aged people's healthy diet attitudes and behavior to prevention metabolic syndrome. In Research objectives: to understand middle-aged people's the metabolic syndrome and healthy diet knowledge, attitudes and behaviors; the impact of the correlation to understand between perception between a healthy diet and metabolic syndrome of middle-aged people's implement a healthy diet plan to prevent metabolic syndrome the influence factors, practical difficulties and coping methods. In this study, We interview six middle-aged Master student of one University, Department of Health Promotion and Health Education using focus group interviews methods. Results: Metabolic syndrome is a middle-aged people believe that metabolic syndrome is warning of badly duo to the individual does not pay attention to health, Should take a balanced, moderate healthy diet can prevent the occurrence of metabolic syndrome. Middle-aged healthy diet using subjective norms come from the social support system, which include family and friends, colleagues in the workplace, schools, teachers and students at learning institutions and the mass media. The difficulties in controlling for a healthy diet because cooking method to each family member's flavored foods dine out, and can't refuse snake temptation. The better way of prevent for metabolic syndrome is to control food portion and cooking method. Middle-aged is the main caregiver of family, the results of this study can be used in health education project designed to promote individual and family's health. |
