Results: The primary competencies of health care management were ranked in the following order of importance: professional skills, conceptual skills, leadership skills, and interpersonal skills. Detailed indicators such as analytical thinking skills, leadership ability, health care quality management, communication, and coordination are also ranked as some of the most important indicators of health care managerial competencies. Departments of Health Care Administration were ranked highest in general health care managerial competencies, following the Departments of Public Health. Departments of Nursing were ranked lowest.
