六堆鄉賢書法名家論述

A Study of the Sages’ Calligraphy in Lio-Due Area

屏東平原是一個擁有多元族群的地方，原住民、漢人、新住民等諸多族群，在此相互消長或融匯，營造了多元文化的豐富相。兩百年間，政治、社會與經濟等各方面，均有極大的改變及進步，而文學藝術的發展，更是與時俱進。客家人聚居的六堆地區，在不同族群的文化與各式藝術的多元發展與彼此互動，奠定藝文發展的基礎。在六堆地區，相對於文學的深耕拓展，書法發展則顯得十分沉寂。真正從事書法創作的人少之又少，卻不乏一些名家，在六堆鄉賢裡，黃丁郎擅長隸書，刊行《隸體字帖》。林清泉以行草寫作新詩，曾獲日本及中國大陸書法大獎。其次六堆知名的舊士紳，亦留傳諸多書法名作，如鍾幹郎、溫慕春、鍾壬壽、李玉麟等人。再其次鄉土文獻或各姓氏族譜則收錄了名人的親書序跋，具有極高的歷史和收藏價值。此外，在六堆的民宅或廟宇施工時，常聘請赫赫有名之才士代為撰寫，亦不乏有書法佳作出現。然而，時至今日高、屏兩縣仍以閩南移民佔絕大多數，客家籍書法家以單打獨鬥者居多；加以當地書法史料記載的貧乏，凡此種種，均增加六堆書法發展史撰寫上的困難。本研究即以六堆地區為調查範圍，採田野調查、深度訪談、內容分析等研究法，廣泛蒐集客籍書法名家、知名鄉紳與文人墨客的雅趣小品，及各民宅廟宇的楹聯，兼及口述資料、手稿及照片等，以此為文本展開研究，探究六堆地區書法發展的源起、承脈、影響及其成就，分清朝、日治時期及民國至今三期論述之。

Pingtung Plain is a place with multi-tribe peoples. However, the multi-tribe peoples interact with each other for ages; it makes Pingtung Plain full of multi-culture and creates a colorful atmosphere. For a long time, artistic activities have made Lio-Due develop its own culture, and it can be traced from its historical context. Therefore, it is worth exploring Lio-Due from cultural and historical respects. In Lio-Due area, the development of calligraphy seems to be slow comparing to other literature development. In Lio-Due area, there are only some people focusing on calligraphy creation, but there are several maestros in calligraphy. Some of them got big prizes in Japanese and Taiwanese Calligraphy Competition. Those sages’ works were not published or preserved in the book of family tree and those works became great materials studied by new generations. In fact, we could find some sages’ great works when some temples or houses were in construction or renovation because some famous sages were invited to give their handwriting. This study was conducted in Lio-Due area, and the researchers took some research methods, like field survey, oral description, and content analysis. This study tries to find out the customs, culture, and social value from the sages’ calligraphy, the couplet or distich from temples or houses in Lio-Due area.
