自1990年代以來,透過婚姻管道來台的東南亞女性新移民逐漸改變台灣社會的人口組成以及社會關係,台灣儼然成為新移民社會。這些來自於上同社會文化環境的新移民來台之後,面臨各種的文化衝擊。但社會大眾以及政府相關單位如何尊待以及面尊這批加入台灣社會新成員的現象與處境呢?本文嘗試以多元文化的觀點作為理論基礎,藉以分析與了解新移民在台的生活情形,以及檢視與反思地方政府的政策實施情形,以期達到尊於「肯認文化差異《以及「社會機會均等《的多元文化社會目標之理解。Since the 1990s, female immigrants from Southeast Asian countries have gradually transformed Taiwan into a settler society. Simultaneously, they have encountered some problems owing to cultural difference. Under the circumstances, how do the public and Taiwan's government treat these immigrants? The study aims to from the multicultural perspective to explore female immigrants' cultural adaptation and local government's relevant polices and practices. The finding was drawn from this study to enhance the more understanding of multicultural society's goal-recognition of cultural difference and equality of social opportunity. |
