中西醫結合與中醫國際化趨勢

INTEGRATION OF CHINESE AND WESTERN MEDICINE AND THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF CHINESE MEDICINE

二十世紀五十年代以來，傳統醫學在中國，由於政府的提倡，人民的愛戴，日益獲得不斷的進步。為了實現中醫學的更大發展，在學術界逐漸形成了運用現代科學、現代醫學方法整理研究中醫藥學的嘗試，並取得了良好的成績，中西醫結合這一新的思維與研究方法，即從萌芽而漸次發展成長，推動了中醫學國際化趨勢。The relevant definitions, connotations and progress developments in the integration of Chinese and Western medicines were reviewed. Relevant research and development, based on theory, material medica and clinical practice, was also discussed. Arguments regarding the pros and cons of integration in accordance with scientific disciplines were presented. With regards to the internationalization of Chinese medicine, the history of the spread of Chinese medicine to first the neighboring Korea Peninsula, Japan, Vietnam, Southeast Asia and later Arabia and Europe was chronicled. Meanwhile, the role of contributions to the health care of human beings were discussed in light of the fact that varioloid epidemic in Chinese ushered in positive influence on the prevention of smallpox in Asia, Europe and America. In addition, the new tendency in internationalization of Chinese medicine was discussed from the perspectives of the World Health Organization (WHO), international academic organizations and Chinese Medicine conferences, etc. The application of Chinese medicine and acu-moxibustion in over 120 countries was discussed with particular reference to their statuses in France, Germany the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, Australia and Africa. Finally, as concluding remarks, WHO’s evaluation of the statues of the World’s traditional medicines from 2002 to 2005 is presented.
