Taking the semi-closed model as an example, in 2015 if the government budgets NT$ 200 billion for investment in public construction in Taiwan, the GDP will increase by 1.24 percentage pointsan approximate increase of NT$ 188.235 billion. The value of production will increase by NT$ 529.417 billion, and the main affected industries are public works, commodity trading, iron and steel, non-metallic mineral products, and industry and commerce services. To promote the public construction investment returns contributing to economic growth, the government must improve the efficiency of investment by improving the public construction investment process and taking strict cost-benefit analysis, in order to enhance the quality of infrastructure investment |
