Economic Revitalization Measures in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore and their Implications

我國與日本、南韓、香港、新加坡等東亞鄰近國家，在過去10年中有不同的經濟表現。特別在亞洲金融風暴後，各國受創不一，所採取的改革措施不盡相同，也影響後來之國際競爭力。此外，由於近年來國際化及全球化之趨勢，一國所遭遇之經濟問題，往往透過國際貿易、金融交易等，影響其他國家經濟。因此，這些國家在面臨各項經濟問題，如改善通貨緊縮現象、解決失業問題、振興經濟等問題，採行之策略與作法，值得我國參考並預為因應。

In the last decade, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore have shown different economic performance. Especially, after the East Asia financial turmoil, these countries took different reforms, while have turned out to affect their national competitiveness thereafter. In addition, under the trends of globalization and internationalization, a country’s economic situation easily affects other countries economy by way of international trade and financial trade. Thus, the measures, which were taken when these countries encountered economy problem are crucial for us to learn from preventing these kinds of situations.
