This research investigated the electricity consumption for public spaces in 17 condominiums with 3,684 households in Taiwan. Through on-site auditing and data gathering, public electricity consumption could be analyzed for three parts. The results showed that outside public electricity consumption related to vacancy area and area with air condition, inside public electricity consumption related to allocation of service core, and public electricity consumption in parking space had relationship with its area. 2 regression equations were developed to predict total public electricity consumption. When all kind of public space areas were concerned, the coefficient of relevance was 0.977. When development intensity was taken into consideration, the coefficient of relevance was 0.954. These results and previous research about electricity consumption for household of condominium can be combined as the initial estimation for building development and the reference for urban power supply as well. |
