The exterior wall of old buildings in the junior high schools and elementary schools in Taiwan are facing the issues of safety and performance which need to be improved. Based on the viewpoint of innovation, this paper adopted composite wood construction systems to refurbish the exterior wall, in order to promote quality, reduce environment burden, and lengthen the longevity of exterior walls. The types of exterior walls refurbishment include: facade, railing, back, and side. In this project, we mainly adopted the grey system theory to establish the decision-making model. Through analysis of data acquired from a questionnaire survey, we then established the correlation matrix between performance factors and refurbishment factors, to conduct the decision-making of exterior walls refurbishment. The research purpose is to analyze the importance rating of exterior walls refurbishment materials, such as: wooden wall panel, tile, stucco washing finish, and cement mortar, to serve as the reference for wooden wall panels usage ratio. The results acquired are employed as references of wooden wall panels usage ratio for the wooden composed exterior walls refurbishment. Furthermore, the results are served as the reference for evaluating on the refurbishment projects, to promote the quality of sustainable school. |
