臺灣原生植物數位資料庫建置先驅研究

A Pioneering Study of Taiwan Aboriginal Plants Database

「原生植物圖鑑數位資料庫建置」案係承續本所已進行兩年之原生植物圖鑑編撰工作，將之數位化並具有檢索功能。該數位資料庫所提供的搜尋介面，能夠使原先龐大的圖鑑資料更加系統化，只要依照使用者的需求填入搜尋條件，便能迅速找出符合使用者需求的植物，因此可以節省查詢實體書所耗費的時間，並能讓使用者藉由這個檢索介面，更精確的掌握符合需求的植物種類。

The project of “Aboriginal Plants Illustrations Database” is a continuation of the two-year compiling and writing works of aboriginal plants illustration handbooks, by digitizing the writings for indexed search capabilitiy. The search interface offered by the digitized database makes the gigantic illustration handbooks even more ordered and systemized, and allows users to enter their search criteria for instant outcome of the plants then want, saving tremendous amount time would be needed to look up in physical books. Furthermore, the indexed-search interface helps users more precisely grip their specifications on the required plants.
