本文旨在介紹十九世紀末俄國鋼琴作曲家尼可拉斯． 梅特納(Nikolai Medtner, 1880-1951 ) 漂泊的生命旅程並分析其著名鋼琴作品《故事曲》。透過其作品內容，依曲式、旋律、節奏、力度、織度等項分析並詮釋探 討其創作重點。剖析梅特納這位幾乎被西方遺忘的俄國鋼琴巨擘的音樂 貢獻及其對時代的重要意義。

The research introduces the life journey of the 19th century Russian pianist/composer, N. Medtner ( 1880-1951 ), and analysis of his famous piano work-Skazki. This study conducts a detailed in the music elements -structure, melody, rhythm, dynamics and texture. Medtner was neglected and almost forgotten in the West of his lifetime. The researcher also determines the contribution and the significance of Medtner’s music.
