Currently, approximately 75% of kindergartens in Taiwan implemented an exercise and games programs for preschoolers. Obviously, it was beneficial to preschoolers' health. Without exact criteria, this curriculum usually depended on the experience and professional abilities of the instructors. Hence, through the method of literature review and the fields of 'cognitive development', 'motor development' and 'social behavior', this study deduced principles of programming preschoolers' exercise and games curriculum and provided a sample lesson plan for preschool teachers and kindergarteners. According to preschoolers' development stages, the study expected to offer an age appropriate and developmentally appropriate to foster preschoolers to learn effectively and happily through exercise and games. |
