臺灣婦女成人教育之現況與發展

The Present State and Perspectives of Adult Education for Women in Taiwan

「婦女」一詞，通常係指成年女性，但也可泛指一般女性，本文係指一般成人婦女。根據研究指出，婦女在教育上處於不利地位，尤其是女性文盲比男性多，且是世界性的現象。因此，近二十年來，有關成人婦女在教育之需求與提供，備受歐美先進國家與聯合國之重視，使婦女成人教育朝向多元發展。國內婦女成人教育之發展，近幾年來，雖已受到政府與民間之重視，唯在探究國內婦女成人教育之現況與實施後，發現不論在法令規章、行政配合、推展方式、實施方式、支援系統等等方面，極待檢討與改進。因此，本文針對所發現之問題，提出十三項建議，以供相關單位與關心人士之參考。

This paper was conducted by literature review to explore and examine the present state of adult education for women that are provided and promoted by the educational administration, social welfare, agricultural administration in government authorities, as well as those of non-government orgranizations. It reveals that the adult education for women programs are integrated and planned into adult education programs, and lacks planning as a whole. With the recognition of the adult education for women programs are still under provision including law and regulation, administration integrated, promoting activities and suportive system, some suggestions are metioned in this paper.
