The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among sexrole trait, work-family role and learning need of dual-career couples. Literature review included previous works regarding the meaning of dual-career couples, theory of sex-role, concept of work-family role and study about learning need. One questionnaire about learning need of dual-career couples was designed and a sample of 276 couples were studied. The findings of this study were:(1) The sex-role trait varied significantly in population with different gender, educational level vocational type and vocational level. (2) Dual-career couples' male-trait was significantly related to work-role; female-trait was significantly related to family-role.(3) The learning need varied significantly in population with different gender, age, educational and vocational level.(4) Sex-role trait and work-family role, in cooperation with population variables such as gender, age, educational and vocational level, can be used to predict learning need of dual-career couples. |
