The purpose of this study is to explore the leaning effectiveness of integrating iPad table computer into computer graphics class. Using the single-group pretest and posttest experimental design as the research method, along with questionnaire survey and focus group interview. One class of 29 third grade students from a Taichung city elementary school were chosen as subjects. These students were given actual drawing teaching activities with iPad, in order to understand the problems of students' creation, the characteristics of their works, and learning effectiveness. This study found that some significant improvement in the performance of the learning attitude, leaning effectiveness, and art creative motivation. Also, students' drawingworksprogress significantly in the composition, subject and creation. Findings will contribute to improvement of computer graphics teaching and suggestions will be made to school and art teachers. |
