This article, based upon the concept of humanitarian education, reflects the reality of Taiwan education and tries to examine the difficulties of general education through the starting point myth and divided courses. It emphasizes the rethinking of the concept of humanitarian education and promotes that the general education should be extended to senior high schools. It also supports that in high schools there should be selective courses to strengthen the ethic education. By doing so, the high school graduates shall become learned and moral citizen of our society. |
