老人教育入口網站之建構

Construction on Educational Portal Website for the Elder

在資訊社會中，目前老人處於網路高風險族群，營造一個適合高齡者上網的友善環境，讓每位公民皆有公平使用網路資源的權利是理想資訊社會的願景。本研究旨在建構一個適合高齡者的教育入口網站。研究目的有三：1.瞭解老人使用一般入口網站遭遇的阻礙；2.分析老人對教育入口網站的友善設計需求；3.分析老人對教育入口網站的學習需求。本研究採用焦點團體訪談進行資料蒐集，進行6場次的焦點訪談，針對教育入口網站的內容提出意見及看法，藉由此種由下而上的方式，意構一個適合老人的教育入口網站，為高齡者友善上網環境跨出第一步。研究結果如下：1.不同教育程度的老人對於入口網站的需求及意見並沒有明顯不同；2.老人使用一般入口網站阻礙重重，目前知名入口網站對於老人使用者並不友善；3.老人對於教育入口網站的友善設計功能需求殷切；4.老人對於教育入口網站的學習需求是現實世界學習需求的延伸及加強，成為長者學習的另一個管道。以及如下的研究建議：1.商業的入口網站應考慮高齡族群的使用者的需求，提供友善的設計；2.政府應建置高齡者教育入口網站，滿足高齡者多元的學習管道；3.政府或老人福利機構的網站內容可適時考慮高齡者的五大學習需求。

The senior is the high- risk population of surfing the net. It is the ideal aspiration of the informational society that everyone included the elder should have a fair opportunity and right to surf the Cyberspace. Three objectives of this research were: 1. to survey the obstacles of senior citizen surfing the famous portal site on the Internet; 2. to investigate the requirements of the elder for the educational portal site; 3. to establish a friendly educational portal site for the senior citizen on the Internet. The method of focus-group interview was employed to assemble the information. This study invited sixty-one above 65 years-old elders who used often the Internet to discuss how to establish the educational portal site. The results showed that: 1. there were few different opinions for the elder on the level of education; 2. the interface design of many famous portal sites， such as Yahoo， is unfriendly for the senior citizen; 3. the elder is desirous to set up a custom-built educational portal site for the senior citizen; 4. the learning requirement of the elder for the educational portal sites is an extended way of traditional learning in the real life. According the results of this study， we suggest that: 1. the requirements of senior citizen should be consider in the commercial portal site of Internet to provide a friendly interface on use; 2. the government should set up the educational portal site to satisfy the requirement of senior citizen; 3. The government and elder welfare institution should design the interface of web sites according to the five learning requirements of senior citizen.
