When I was working on my master degree, I made several times to observe the situations in kindergartens and found there were some children reared by grandparents in every class. According to my observations, I found some problems on adjusting school lives that those children reared by grandparents . I hoped I could have more understandings about the differences of adjusting school lives children reared by grandparents . This research adopted a case study. Data were collected by interview and observation. The findings were as follows: 1.'Learning performance' aspect: Because of the subject's grandparents were illiterate and hard to communicate, the subject was not helped. 2. 'Regulation' aspect: Due to the subject's grandparents adopted authoritative rearing style, the subject always ordered other children to do something. 3. 'Peer interaction' aspect: The peer interaction in the classroom, the subject took the active role and was the leader of his group. 4. 'The rearing style of his grandparents' aspect: The subject's grandparents adopted authoritative attitude and wished the subject could grow up quickly. |
