有口難言：從一件成年智障者的體罰事件談起

A Case Of Abuse Of An Adult With Intellectual Disability

近期智障者受虐事件頻傳，筆者受此啟發遂想深入探討相關課題。本文從(一) 成年智障者的生活安置（含：安置現況、家庭壓力與困境、家庭選擇機構安置的 原因）、（二）一則成年智障者遭體罰的實例、（三）成年智障者及家庭面對體罰事 件的困境等方面整理文獻及提出反思，並針對（一）教育人員、（二）社會福利主 管單位、（三）家長等人員提出防制智障者被體罰與虐待的相關建議，期能藉由本 文喚起社會大眾對成年智障者的安置及體罰與虐待事件的重視。

With the increased cases of abuse of adult persons with intellectual disability (ID)， this article tries to explore the condition and covers three aspects: (1) the choice of placement (including the quality of placement， the stress and plight of families with adults with ID， and the reasons for seeking foster care). (2) a confirmed abuse case of an adult with ID. (3) references and suggestions for teachers， authorities， and families with adults with ID. It is expected that the article will arouse the awareness of the public on the abuse problem and thus further help improve the situation of the traumatized adults with ID and their family.
