The purpose of the study was to explore preschool teachers' attitudes towards life education. Quantitative and quasi experimental researches were used in the study. For quantitative analyses of hypotheses, the questionnaire 'preschool teachers' attitude towards life education' was employed to analyze preschool teachers' attitudes towards life education. The findings of the quantitative study suggested that (a) In the concept of life education section, elder teachers had more positive attitudes than younger teachers, married teachers had more positive attitudes than single teachers, experienced teachers also had more positive attitudes than un-experienced teachers. Moreover, good and worse physical condition teachers had positive attitudes than the other physical condition teachers. (b) In the content of life education section, there were 13 topics of life education programs adopted by teachers to teach their young children. In the important three things to be selected by teachers in their life section, the rank of the subjects selected was health, happiness and job. For the quasi experimental research, subjects divided into two groups, experimental group and control group. The finding indicated that the experimental group has more positive attitudes than control group in the concept of life education. That is, the results supported the hypotheses of the study. |
