Concerning about the advent of industrialization and high-tech, critical discussions and reflections were preoccupied with such problems as the disruption of human mind and experience. The fostering of aesthetic education was justified in the evolution of civilization. In the light of the crises risen in aesthetic education in Taiwan schools, the main aim of this study was to construct the curriculum development model of aesthetic education for curriculum practices. In order to achieve the aim, qualitative research was conducted. Drawing upon literature in a number of fields(particularly in aesthetics, semiotics, and visual culture), this study suggested a analysis framework of four facets of arts before research. The study also made some changes about criteria of curriculum development and a feedback form for teaching in the process. Finally, The PAAR model of aesthetic education was derived from data provided by the research data and reflection. |
