This purpose aimed at investigating the influences of assertion group-training program on the self-concept of female kindergarten teachers before and after group. To attain this goal, the measures have been taken: The researcher made up a close-ended questionnaire on 'Tennessee self-concept scale of female kindergarten teachers' (TSCSFKT) and designed 'assertion group program'. In this experiment, there were 16 subjects, female kindergarten teacher in Hualien city. All subjects were divided into one experiment group (eight subjects) and one control group (eight subjects). The subjects of the career group were asked to attend the assertion training group program (for eight units), fill in the unit feedback forms. However, all of the two groups were to answer the questionnaire on TSCSFKE on pre-experiment, post-experiment, a month after group, and three month after group. There was no effect on experiment group. The subjects of the assertion group had positive evaluation on the unit feedback forms, including scoring on the unit items and responding to the unit activities. Based on the results of the study, recommendations are then made for each related education administration institution or school to help every female kindergarten teacher well adapt themselves to her confidences. |
