A Schistosomiasis in North and East of Taihu Lake since the Early Ming Dynasty

18 世紀初至20 世紀上半葉，太湖北部和東部水網地區的血吸蟲病流行程度呈現出「V」形變化。這一變化與18 世紀太湖東部泄水河道的徹底淤塞、「太平天國戰爭」所導致的巨量的人口損失阻止了乾隆以來人地關係的緊張、1920 年代之後農村經濟的蕭條、日本侵華戰爭和之後的國內戰爭有直接關係。

Schistosomiasis prevalence showed a "V" shape change in the water network in northern and eastern regions of Taihu Lakefrom early 18th century to the first half of the 20th century. This change had the direct relationships with completely silted river discharge in eastern of Taihu in the 18th century, massive population loss caused by "Taiping war" which prevented the tension between people and land since Qianlong period, the rural economic depression since the 1920s, the Japanese War of aggression against China and the civil war.
