The effectiveness of innovative management has become one of the most widely-used indicators in the quest to improve the performance of Taiwan's preschools. Of the factors influencing the effectiveness of innovative management, preschool directors' knowledge leadership was the most important. Based mainly on the survey method, this research study set out to construct and validate a model for preschool directors' knowledge leadership. Data was collected from preschool teachers in Northern Taiwan, and Structural Equation Modeling was then used to examine the structural relationships. It was found that there were, moderate and positive correlations among the three variances. It was also found that teachers' knowledge sharing could be influenced significantly by preschool directors' knowledge leadership, and that preschool innovative management effectiveness could be influenced significantly by both directors' knowledge leadership and teachers' knowledge sharing. The results also indicated that teachers' knowledge sharing mediated the relationship between preschool directors' knowledge leadership and innovative management effectiveness. |
