Th e purpose of the study is to understand the work stress, consequencesand coping strategies of secondary and elementary school teachers.The study method is adopted literature review. Th e study results show that sources of secondary and elementary school teachers’ stress are teaching and discipline, student behaviors, professional knowledge,school organization, personal relationship and work overload. Th e studyresults display that the consequences of stress may be psychological, physical and behavioral. Th e study results also show that teachers use strategies to cope with work stress—resolve problems, relax negative emotion and seek social support. |
