A 62-year-old female presented with symptoms of intermittent claudication and low back pain that had persisted for several months. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) revealed a tumor in the upper posterior region of the right kidney. She subsequently underwent a retroperitoneoscopic right nephrectomy. The excised right kidney measured 18 cm x 12 cm x 10 cm. The patient was discharged uneventfully on the third day after surgery. Final pathology confirmed clear cell carcinoma, staged as pT2a. Postoperatively, her symptoms were completely resolved, and she remained well during the 3.5-year follow-up. |
