守護福爾摩沙的集中檢疫所團隊－－朴子醫院經驗為例

Group Quarantine Facilities Team of the Guardians of Formosa Taiwan-Puzi Hospital experience

集中檢疫所是一座成功防堵COVID-19疫情的堡壘，為國人之健康築起一道檢疫的圍牆。由衛福部附屬醫療及社會福利機構管理會主責，2020年5月租用嘉義縣內閒置學校，成立第一間學生宿舍改建的太保檢疫所，另已閒置的商旅成為當時國內最大之朴子檢疫所，由朴子醫院負責整建規劃及營運。全院群策群力動員，用最快的速度於同年7月份完成整建，並開始收案執行防疫任務。衛生組、後勤組、安全組團隊合作跟隨中央防疫政策，快速調整照護。檢疫所設立之初以服務產業需要的入境移工居多，之後調整為檢疫匡列之居家隔離者，當國內疫情升高時，改為收治輕症或無症狀的確診個案，緩解醫療量能的緊張。我們共同照護90歲到剛出生二個月的寶寶，不僅提供生活所需，更要依其身體狀況提供醫療照護。兩所自2020年5月20日至2023年5月1日共經歷1,075天，合計服務收治7,710人，且零感染零死亡，全國集中檢疫所共同達成國家防疫工作，共同守護福摩爾沙寶島台灣，感謝挺身而出的所有人，任務圓滿達成。

The centralized quarantine center is a fortress that successfully blocked the COVID-19 epidemic outbreak and built a wall for the health of the Taiwanese people. In May 2020, the Ministry of Health and Welfare leased an idle school building in Chiayi County and established Taibao Group Quarantine Facility which was the first student dormitory converted into, also converting idle hotel into the largest quarantine center (Puzi quarantine center) in Taiwan during that period of time , which Puzi Hospital was responsible for renovation planning and operation . The whole hospital members mobilized with collective wisdom and efforts, completed the task in July 2020 as soon as possible, and began taking in cases and carrying out epidemic prevention tasks. Following the central epidemic prevention policy, the healthcare group, logistics group, and security group worked together and adjusted care pattern with flexibility. At the beginning of its establishment, inbound migrant workers needed by the service industry accounted for the majority population in quarantine facilities, and then it gradually became home isolation people in the quarantine list. When the epidemic was spreading, quarantine facilities was changed to admit and treat mild or asymptomatic confirmed cases. We work together to take care of many cases, from the two-month-old baby to the 90- year-old elderly, not only offered their daily needs, but also provided medical care according to their physical conditions. From May 20, 2020 to May 1, 2023, the two institutions experienced totally 1,075 days, with a total of 7,710 people receiving and treating, with zero infections and zero deaths. The centralized quarantine centers jointly achieved the national epidemic prevention work, jointly protecting Taiwan Formosa. Thanks to everyone who came forward, the task was successfully achieved.
