巴金森氏病的臨床症狀、治療以及臨床試驗發展

巴金森氏病（Parkinson’s Disease）屬於常見的動作障礙疾病（movement disorder）之一，同時也是神經退化性疾病（neurodegenerative disorder），罹患巴金森氏病的原因目前仍不明，發生率及盛行率隨著年齡的增加而上升。巴金森氏病的臨床表現主要為運動障礙症狀，常見的症狀為靜止性震顫、肌肉僵直及運動遲緩，另外也包含非運動障礙症狀，例如憂鬱、疼痛、認知改變及睡眠改變等。目前在臨床上治療對於巴金森氏病無法達到完全根治，藥物治療或外科手術僅可改善病人運動障礙之症狀。透過臨床試驗之內容能提供不同角度來研究巴金森氏病及探索未來新治療之開發。

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is both a neurodegenerative and movement disorder, with an unknown pathogenesis. Its incidence and prevalence increase with aging. Typical motor symptoms include resting tremor, rigidity, and bradykinesia, while non-motor symptoms may include depression, pain, cognitive decline, and sleep disturbances. There is no cure for PD; current medical or surgical treatments focus solely on reducing motor dysfunction symptoms. Clinical trials may provide insights into different research approaches and explore novel treatment options for PD.
