This preliminary study evaluates the macroscopic impact of new dressings containing probiotics on wound healing in clinical applications. Among the subjects who used probiotic dressings, no adverse effects such as allergies, redness, swelling, itching, or wound infection were observed. Compared with findings in the literature, wounds of the same area healed faster than those in mice without probiotic dressings. Therefore, probiotic dressings appear to promote wound healing. |
