The '' Si ku quan shu '' contains two monographs of ''Shan Hai Jing'', one is ''Shan Hai Jing Zhu'' by Guo Pu of Jin Dynasty, and the other is ''Shan Hai Jing Guang Zhu'' written by Wu Renchen of Qing Dynasty. Wu Renchen is inquisitive and talented, so that '' Shan Hai Jing Guang Zhu '' not only incorporates exegesis of strange object and their connotation, but also adds pictures and images. Later researchers of Shanhaijing, such as Hao Yixing, Bi Yuan and others, were all influenced by Wu Renchen, which shows the important status of ''Shan Hai Jing Guang Zhu''. ''Shan Hai Jing Guang Zhu'' cites more than 500 kinds of text, including Confucian classics, poetry collections, and strange notes, etc. Among them, Wu Renchen prefers to cite Ming Dynasty encyclopedia, and using them to annotate scriptures. Therefore, this article focuses on the discussion of the four Ming Dynasty encyclopedia, analyzes the characteristics and omissions of Wu Renchen citing the Ming dynasty encyclopedia, and observes his book selection awareness and citation style.
