Cervical cancer is ranks as the fourth most prevalence and a leading cause of cancer related death in women worldwide. Squamous cell carcinomas are the most common malignancies of cervix. Only 15% cervical carcinomas are adenocarcinoma. Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix (CCAUC) is extremely rare among the cervical cancer and accounts for about 4% of all adenocarcinomas. There is lack of a standard treatment of clinical CCAUC due to its rarity. Here we present a case a metastatic cervical clear cell carcinoma. We will further describe the clinical characteristic, prognosis and current treatment of the disease. |
