This study presents a rare case of benign metastasizing leiomyoma (BML), typically asymptomatic but occasionally showing aggressive, tumor-like behavior. BML is characterized by distant metastasis of uterine leiomyomas while maintaining benign pathology. The case involves a 40-year-old woman with recurrent leiomyomas leading to surgeries, eventually discovering metastases in the lungs and other areas. This case highlights the diagnostic and treatment challenges of BML, underscoring the need for further research into its clinical and genetic characteristics. |
