The Law on Foreign Relations of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as“The Law on Foreign Relations”) is the cornerstone of taking a coordinated approach to promoting the rule of law at home and in matters involving foreign parties. This Article will be grounded on the pre-existing academic scholarship and in reference to the promulgation and implementation of the Law on Foreign Relations to analyze profound significances of legislating the Law on Foreign Relations and the pivotal role of the Law on Foreign Relations in processes of developing the rule of law in China’s foreign relations. After interpreting how the Law on Foreign Relations upholds fundamental principles and breaks new ground in institutional building, this Article attempts to outline a vision for developing the rule of law in China’s foreign relations in the future. |
