This study aimed to explore perceiving and living experience of ca¬reer calling of directors of primary schools. There were 6 participants the current primary schools’ directors, ranging from 35 to 51 years old. The study analyzed based on the grounded theory. The results showed that: First, directors of primary schools had career calling before being direc¬tors. Second, career calling of the participants would change depending on whether their calling could be lived. Third, having good work strate¬gies and gaining support could help to live a calling; without support from school teachers, excessive administrative chores, and personal health fac¬tors would hinder their career calling. Finally, a pattern of career call¬ing change of primary schools’ directors was proposed. At the end of the study, recommendations for education practice were put forward based on the results of the research. |
