The Executive Yuan passed the“2030 Bilingual National Policy Development Blueprint”proposed by the National Development Council in December 2018. By the end of 2030, Taiwan will become a bilingual country. This study attempts to examine it through phenomenology methodology. Focusing on the experience of promoting bilingual teachers in high schools, this study adopts a convenient sampling method to select teachers who have been writing bilingual textbooks and teaching in high schools for many years as the research objects, describes the current situation of bilingual teaching in high schools in detail, and then reveals how bilingual learning in high schools integrates into culture and characteristics. If Taiwan wants to become a bilingual country in the future, the teaching philosophy and practical experience of front-line teachers will play a pivotal role. Therefore, it is important to study the experience of bilingual teachers in high schools. The purpose of the study is to describe the significance of the essence of the experience of bilingual teachers in senior high schools. It is hoped that through this study, we can find out the cognition of senior high school teachers on bilingual teaching and how to develop courses and guide students into bilingual teaching mode. From the description of the teaching experience of bilingual teachers, the interaction experience between teachers and students in class and the essence of the experience of curriculum and textbook development. The research results can provide more ideas for senior high school bilingual teachers, which is helpful for teachers to think and implement in bilingual teaching. |
