To meet the needs of workplace digitalization under Industry 4.0, graduates must have both, practical skills and theoretical knowledge, which requires the deeper integration of vocational education and higher education in Germany. The continued integration of vocational education and higher education has enhanced the effectiveness of the educational model and has been a powerful force on the German labor market, leading to positive developments. This study examines the background, operation mode, and development status of the integration process through a comprehensive document analysis method and discusses it from a new institutionalist perspective. The work contributes to ongoing discussions in promoting a dual education system in Taiwan. |
